Sanyu Kindergarten & Primary School
Sanyu was founded in 2016 and classes were held in the wooden church structure in the village of Nakimboledde. Over 100 children were registered for the first year. Lucky Wendy is the director of the school. Lucky teaches and also hired four others to teach the three levels of Kindergarten. 2017 Primary 1 was added along with a new school building and a kitchen. In 2018 Primary 2 was added and they had 191 children enrolled, in 2024 they have a total of 370! Construction of a new school building for 500 students was completed in 2022.
Thanks to generous donations from sponsors for Christmas presents, we were able to buy swing sets, slide and climbing tower for the playground.

SPONSOR THE EDUCATION OF A CHILD!
$100 will pay school fees for a child for an entire year. It will also provide them with a new uniform, shoes, socks, rain boots, uniform gym clothes and hot porridge every school morning.
New Sanyu School Building Opened in 2022
Over 300 children are enrolled in the Sanyu School for the 2022 School Year. The new school can accommodate up to 500 children.
